The next Page to Stage reading presentation is March 27 from 3-5 p.m. at the Audi in Concord, NH. Admission is free.

Performances will take place at the Boston Playwrights' Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue, on the BU Campus, on the weekend of June 24-26.

March Workshops Lead to June Performances

Granite Playwrights, Ink, a group of award-winning novelists, playwrights, screenwriters and actors living in the Greater Concord, New Hampshire area, premieres new short plays in the Friends of the Concord City Auditorium's annual Page to Stage Series. The two-hour presentation offers short and wicked short plays in a workshop format on March 6 & 27 from 3-5 p.m. at the Audi in Concord, NH. Admission is free.

This two-part series showcasing the group’s work will be followed up with performances at Boston Playwrights' Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue, on the BU Campus, on the weekend of June 24-26.

Audi audiences will be the first to see these plays in an intimate setting. The early March date will feature many raw plays being read and workshopped, while the later March date should see plays read in a more rehearsed scripts-in-hand performance, though some of the actors may be "off book" by then, in which case audiences will get to experience premiere performances of brand new works.

Part of the fun of a workshop event is that playwrights welcome audience feedback and questions; it's an opportunity to glimpse the creative process in action. Actors interested in auditioning for the plays are welcome to join us on the 6th at Noon when we will be reading through the plays and assigning some of the still unassigned roles. Please contact us if you'd like to be considered for a role in the reading, and trying out for a spot in the March 27 and June performances.

(need three men, three women, early 20s except for one man who may be a tad bit older) performed March 27 & in June
NO, BUT I READ THE BOOK by Merle Drown - Brief intercessions designed to entertain...and to distract the audience from the necessary scenic changes on the open stage. (need two to three actors of any sex and any age) performed March 27 & in June
